Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivinde bulunan 8428 nolu Mufassal Cizye Defteri; Kıbrıs Eyaletinin Lefkoşa, Limasol, Gilan, Piskopi, Evdim, Kukla, Baf, Hırsofı, Lefke, Omorfa, Pendaye, Magosa, Tuzla, Mesarya, Karpas ve Girne nahiyelerine tabi muhtelif köylerde yaşayan cizye vergisine tabi gayrimüslim reayanın H. 1053-M. 1643 yılında Lefkoşa Kadısı Mustafa Efendi ile yardımcısı Kenan Ağa tarafından yapılan sayımına aittir. Adı geçen defter incelendiğinde Kıbrıs Eyaletinin 16 nahiyesinde yaşayan cizye vergisine tabi 18.040 nefer tespit edilmiş ve bunlardan 155 neferin öldüğü, 36 neferin firar ettiği ve bir neferin mükerrer yazıldığı kaydedilmiştir.
