Abstract:

Roman species has not been able to stand away from social issues in general since it deals with the human being, which is a social being. In this regard, the novels have been in a mirror position that reflects the society and individual structure of the periods they deal with with with all their unity and different perspectives. One of these novels that reflect the period in which the pen was taken is the work of the Text War's Zemheri Kuyusu. The author, in the framework of this postmodern novel published in 2005, focused on many political, religious, social and cultural topics. One of the topics that the author addresses is the Living Turkish issue. For in history, there have been many discussions about which words will be accepted in Turkish and many different opinions have been revealed. Some of these opinions seeking to determine the limits of the language are accepted by the community, while some are welcomed with reaction. In this article, the discussion of this language is also studied as being addressed in a novel fiction by moving from the example of the Zemheri Kuyusu. Thus, both the response of language discussions in the society and the identification, suggestions and proposals on the subject of the Text War were tried to be determined.

In this postmodern novel published in 2005, the author addressed many political, religious, social and cultural issues. One of the prominent issues that the author addressed is the issue of living Turkish. Because during history many discussions have been made about which words will be accepted in Turkish and many different views have been put forward. Some of these opinions, which try to determine the limits of the language, are accepted by society and some of them are criticized. This article examines how these language discussions are handled in a novel through the analysis of Zemheri Kuyusu sample. Thus, both the role of language discussions in society and the determination, criticism and proposals of Metin Savaş on language were tried to be determined.
