Abstract:

Since the emergence of the concept of children's literature, writers and publishers who work in the field of children's literature have wanted to reach the wide audience of readers by evaluating all kinds of literature in children's literature to present children's qualified works. The appearance of children’s newspapers and magazines is also the product of these efforts. Writing for children has always been a writing skill that requires skill. The children’s literature writers who know this have wanted to be read and followed for a long time, with the children’s magazines, the children’s newspapers, and the children’s likes. For this purpose, they set examples of all kinds of literary magazines and newspapers to attract the interest of their readers. The first examples of children’s magazines and newspapers seen in Germany begin to be published in the Ottoman State with the revival of the matbuat life after Tanzimat. After the proclamation of the Republic and the literary revolution, children’s periodic publications are an important part of children’s literature. Turks outside of Turkey also use children’s magazines and newspapers in order to continue their languages and cultures in the geography they live and to teach their children their native languages. For this purpose, in Bulgaria, the Turks living in former Yugoslavia succeed inining their cultural assets with their children’s magazines and newspapers they publish. The Filiz Children’s newspaper, one of these newspapers, has contributed to the language and thought development of Turkish children living in the Balkans for 27 years in Bulgaria between 1992 and 2019. In this study, the articles in the numbers published by the Filiz newspaper between the years 2011-2019 will be scaned by the method of document analysis according to their types. Thus, the purpose of the Filiz child newspaper, which has not had much information about Turkey in the field of child literature and Turkish teaching, is to contribute to the making of different studies related to the newspaper.
