Çalışmanın konusu üniversitenin kent kalkınmasına etkisi, Kafkas Üniversitesi’nin kurumsal imajı ve yöre halkının Kafkas Üniversitesi’nden beklentilerinden oluşuyor. Çalışmanın amacı üniversitenin kurumsal imajını belirlemek, üniversite imaj yönetimi için veri tabanı oluşturulmasına katkı sağlamak, geri kalmış kentlerin kalkınmasında bir etken olarak üniversitenin önemini belirlemek ve literatüre katkıda bulunmaktır. Bu çalışma alan araştırma modelinde yapıldı. Verilerin büyük çoğunluğu nitel yöntemle toplandı
