Tükürük ve nem kontaminasyonu, fissür örtücülerin başarısızlığında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. İzolasyon sağlanamadığı için erken kaybedilen fissür örtücüler, tedavi maliyetinin artmasına ve hasta konforunun azalmasına yol açtığından klinisyenleri yeni materyal arayışlarına sürüklemiştir. Bu derlemede, tükürük ve nem kontaminasyonunun fissür örtücü başarısızlığındaki yeri ve izolasyonun zor olduğu durumlarda uygulanabilecek fissür örtücü alternatiflerinin gözden geçirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Spray and moisture contamination plays an important role in the failure of fissure coverers. Early lost fissure coverers, because isolation was not provided, have driven the clinics to search for new materials as it has led to increased treatment costs and decreased patient comfort. This collection aims to review the place of sputum and moisture contamination in the failure of the fissure cover and the fissure cover alternatives that can be applied in cases where isolation is difficult.
