Abstract It was sought to report the experience of a physical education professional in the development of Singular Therapeutic Projects (PTS) used in the follow-up of users in mental suffering of a CAPSad in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza-CE. This is an experience report type research with a qualitative approach carried out from January 2021 to February 2022. The results indicate that the participation of the resident physical education professional was of great importance from the planning of the PTS with the multidisciplinary teams to the individual and/or collective follow-ups of users and their families in the context of recovery. Comprehensive and participatory care contributed to the development of subjects' autonomy towards accountability for their own care.
