Hayatımız bilgilerimize, uygulamalarımıza ve ürettiklerimize bağlı olarak sürekli değişmektedir. Algılamalarımız da aynı şekilde değişmektedir. İnsanların sahip oldukları bedensel ve zihinsel kabiliyetleriyle algı kapasitesi arasında doğrudan bir ilişki olduğu bilinir. Hem maddi hem de manevi konular içerisinde anılan spor konusu da değişmekte olan yaşantımızla algılarımız arasındaki bağı gösteren ilginç örneklerden biridir. Maddi kültür, hayatımızı değiştirdiği gibi manevi dünyamızı ve algılarımızı da değiştirmektedir. Bu nedenle sosyal ve manevi konular üzerinde konuşmak durumunda kalındığında geçmişteki muhteva hakkında doğru ve tam bir bilgi sahibi olmadan değerlendirme ve yargılamalarda bulunulmamalıdır. Günümüzün ulaştığı maddi kültürle geçmişin maddi kültürü ya da geçmişin maddi kültürü ile günümüzün manevi kültürü izah edilmeye ve bir karşılaştırma yapılmaya çalışıldığında çok dikkatli olunmalıdır. Zira tamamen değişen ya da ortadan kalkan bir kültüre insanın nüfuz etmesi ve onu anlaması asla mümkün olmayabilir. Elli sene öncesine kadar “açıl susam açıl”ın masal dünyasından çıkıp gerçek olacağına kim inanırdı! Yapmamız gereken şey kendimizi geliştirerek doğru anlamaya çalışmaktır. Eskiden uygulanan pek çok spor etkinliğinden biri de “çevgan” sporuydu. Bugün onun tahtında futbol var. Oyunun araçları olan “guy” ve “çevgan” yalnızca bir estetik güzelliği değil, ilahi aşkı anlatmak için bile kullanılmıştır. Oysa bugün futbola ya da herhangi bir spor dalına ait olan unsurlarla sevgilinize duyduğunuz hisleri ve aşkı anlatmanız mümkün değildir. Tıpkı Yunus Emre’nin “top olmak” kavramıyla algıladığı bir dünyayı günümüz neslinin aynı şekilde algılamasının mümkün olamaması gibi.
Our lives are constantly changing depending on our knowledge, our practices and what we produce. Our perceptions are changing in the same way. It is known that there is a direct connection between the physical and mental abilities that people have and their perceptive capacity. The sport subject mentioned in both physical and spiritual matters is also one of the interesting examples of the link between our changing life and our perceptions. The material culture changes our spiritual world and our perceptions as it changes our lives. Therefore, when discussing social and spiritual issues remains, it should not be conducted in assessment and judgment without the correct and complete knowledge of the past. The material culture of the past, or the material culture of the past, and the spiritual culture of the present, should be very careful when trying to be interpreted and compared. It may never be possible for a person to penetrate and understand a culture that is completely changing or disappearing. Who would have believed that until fifty years ago the "open thirst" would come out of the fairy tale world and be true! What we need to do is to try to understand ourselves by improving ourselves. One of the many sports events that were used before was the "circumstance" sport. Today he has football on his throne. The tools of the game, "guy" and "cover" have been used not only to describe a aesthetic beauty, but also the divine love. But today it is not possible to tell your lover the feelings and love you hear with the elements belonging to football or any kind of sport. Just as it is impossible for today’s generation to perceive a world that Yunus Emre perceived by the concept of “being a ball.”
Our lives are changing continuosly depending on our knowledge, generating and executions. Our perceptions are also changing in the same way. It is known that there is direct relation between capability of physical and mentally with the capability of perception human has. Topic of sport mentioned both as a material and moral subject is an interesting exambles showing between our perceptions and lives that is being changed. As material culture has changed our lives also has changed our moral lives and perceptions. So in need of speaking about social and moral subjects one must not judge and make an assessment unless having precise and accurate knowledge about the past contents. Caution should be exercised when making an explânation with the material culture that our time has reached for the material culture in the past or with the material culture in the past for the moral culture in our time has reached. Because it could not be possible to penetrate a culture complately vanished or could never be possible even to understand it. Who would believe until fifty years ego the “Open sesame” will emerge of world of unreality and becames reality. What must we do is to improve ourselves and try to understand rightly. One of the very many sports played in the past was the “chavgan” which would be called as Polo in the West . Today football is in its throne. With the instruments “ball” and “stick” not only used to narrate only an esthetics beauty but also used to narrate the divine love. But today with an instrument belongs to football or with another play you can not narrate your feeling or your love you feel about your love. Just as it can’t be possible to percept our generations a concept “being a ball” as Yunus had perceived.
