Bu çalışmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının işsizlik kaygısı düzeylerinin ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenerek çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının işsizlik kaygıları ile mesleğe ilişkin tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin ortaya koyulmasıdır. Tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak yürütülen çalışma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının kadın öğretmen adayları, daha alt sınıfta olan ve genel not ortalaması daha yüksek olan öğretmen adayları lehine anlamlı olarak farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının işsizlik kaygılarının cinsiyet ve GNO değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmadığı belirlenirken, 4. sınıflarda öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının işsizlik kaygılarının 2. sınıflara göre anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca işsizlik kaygısının alt boyutlarının tamamı ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutum arasında negatif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu belirlenmiş, öğretmen adaylarının genel işsizlik kaygısı düzeyleri ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları arasında ise negatif yönde, orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulgulanmıştır. Gerek sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının genel işsizlik kaygıları ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları arasında var olduğu belirlenen negatif yönlü orta düzeyli anlamlı ilişki, gerek mesleğe ilişkin tutumlar ile işsizlik kaygı düzeyi ölçeğinin alt boyutlarının tamamı arasındaki negatif yönlü anlamlı ilişkiler, gerekse 4. sınıf sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının işsizlik kaygılarının 2. sınıflara göre anlamlı derecede yüksek, buna karşın mesleğe ilişkin tutumlarının anlamlı derecede düşük olması işsizlik kaygısının artmasının sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını olumsuz yönde etkilediğini düşündürmektedir.
The aim of this study is to identify the levels of unemployment concerns and attitudes of the candidates for social information teachers towards the teaching profession and to identify the relationship between the unemployment concerns of the candidates for social information teachers and their attitudes towards the profession. The study conducted in accordance with the relational scan model from the scan models has shown that the attitudes of social information teachers candidates towards the teaching profession have significantly varied in favor of women teachers candidates, who are in the lower class and who have a higher overall score average. While social information teachers are determined that the unemployment concerns of candidates are not significantly differentiated by gender and GNO variables, 4. The unemployment concerns of teachers who are studying in classes have been significantly high compared to the 2nd grade. It has also been determined that there is a negative and meaningful relationship between the whole subdimensions of unemployment concern and the attitude towards the teaching profession, and that there is a negative and meaningful relationship between the general levels of unemployment concern and the attitude towards the teaching profession between the teaching candidates. Necessary social information is determined that there is a negative middle-level meaningful relationship between the general unemployment concerns and the attitudes to the teaching profession of the candidates, the negative middle-level meaningful relationship between the attitudes to the profession and the whole sub-dimensions of the unemployment concern level scale, if necessary. Class social information teachers think that the unemployment concerns of the candidates are significantly high compared to the 2nd class, however their attitudes towards the profession are significantly low increasing unemployment concerns social information teachers think that the attitudes of the candidates towards the teaching profession have a negative impact.
