Abstract:

After the Second World War, the US and the USSR took the place of the old great (England, France) as new great. These new powers, which developed a different hegemonic structure than the past, have consequently led to the birth of a two-pole international system in the world. The UK, which is now losing its capacity to be the main power, has become part of the U.S.-centric/external policies by standing in front of the communist/socialist bloc that the Soviet Russia takes over. From both the U.S. and the UK point of view, the Soviet Union has begun to in Europe and other geographical areas, ideological, political, military etc. Preventing having more of the earnings has become a very vital issue. In this context, a political doctrine called the "Doctrine of Environment" was created. The most important point reflected in the doctrine was that the objectives set by the communist ideology included the spread of the past Tsar Russia. Furthermore, in the center of Stalin’s relationship with the world, the communist ideology was also placed. In the London Press Conference, Nuri Eren and Bülend Ecevit signed the papers that they gave about Britain; the threat of communism, the issue of the Garp Union, the Greece-Turkey-Iran line and the holding of Asia have come to the forefront. In this study, the topics that were addressed in British political circles and publications were tried to be given by preserving the forms of expression and speech, and in particular the knowledge of the vital importance of Turkey in the two-polar struggle was confirmed. As it is clear from the headline of the study, only the approaches and arguments of British politicians have been placed, and the topic of what Turkey is doing against the writings has not been mentioned.
