Bu makale, YÖK ATLAS 2017 temelinde geliştirilen ve 2018 indeksi olarak isimlendirilen veriler çerçevesinde, Türkiye’deki siyaset bilimi ve/veya kamu yönetimi bölümlerinin bir sıralamasını yaparak, bu bölümlerin genel durumunu ortaya koymakta, değerlendirmekte ve tartışmaktadır. Bu sıralama ve değerlendirme için kullanılan indekste, akademik personelin ve öğrencilerin sayısı, tercih edilirlik, üniversite yerleştirme sınavında bölümlerin sırası gibi göstergeler ile bölümlerin web sitelerinde yer alan bilgileri de dikkate alınmıştır. 2017’den 2018’e indeksin geliştirildiği ve karşılaştırma olanağı elde edildiği de söylenmelidir.
This article, in the framework of the data developed on the basis of YÖK ATLAS 2017 and named as the 2018 index, makes a ranking of the departments of political science and/or public administration in Turkey, reveals, evaluates and discusses the general status of these departments. In the index used for this ranking and evaluation, the number of academic staff and students, the preference, the ranking of the departments in the university placement exam and the information on the websites of the departments were also taken into account. It should also be said that from 2017 to 2018 the index has been developed and the comparison possibility has been achieved.
