Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of corporate social responsibility on organizational commitment and reveal whether there are significant differences regarding the perceptions of corporate social responsibility in terms of employees' demographic characteristics. Data sampling of the study was gathered from 435 employees operating in Konya Organized Industrial Zone. Multiple Regression analysis results showed that economic, legal and philanthropic responsibilities had a significant and positive effect on emotional commitment. However, ethical responsibility had no significant effect on emotional commitment. On the other hand, economic, legal and ethical responsibilities had a significant and positive effect on normative commitment. But, philanthropic responsibility had no significant effect on normative commitment. Similarly, economic, legal and ethical responsibilities had a significant and positive effect on continuance commitment. Nevertheless, philanthropic responsibility had no significant effect on continuance commitment. Finally, the limitations of the study are given and some suggestions are made for future studies.
