Abstract:

Women's football is a sport that is constantly on the rise on the world stage, however, the Brazil lives a different reality. Even with the women's national team won several international titles, the women's football in Brazil is still seen as a masculine mode, and in the country of football, the women still haven ́t the necessary organization to that modality becomes a national preference. With five South American titles the Brazil women's national football team is considered the best of Latin America, but, when we observe the Olympic and World Champions selections, we note that the Brazil never won the first position. In the two competitions the brazilian squad won just as best result the second place. For best results it is necessary mainly investment in the training of professionals who work with this public. In this context it ́s important to research the specific features, namely the scope of the physiology, biochemistry, biomechanics of practicing this sport in Brazil. So, this review aimed to quantify the total brazilian literature studies that sought to investigate and characterize the female football players in the country.
