Abstract:

The fact that remote education has become an obligation in higher education along with the pandemic period has made it necessary to study the attitudes of those affected by this process. In the context of this requirement, there is a need for a reliable measurement tool to measure the attitudes of students studying in higher education towards distance learning. In this context, the purpose of the research is to develop a valid and reliable scale in measuring the attitudes of higher education students towards distance learning. The material created by the study of the area-winter was presented to the expert opinion and implemented by the necessary arrangements. The scale’s validity and reliability studies have been carried out with 19190 students studying in various pre-graduate and undergraduate stages of the Necmettin Erbakan University. Structural validity of the measurement is carried out with the analytics of the dispersing factor (AFA), the verifying factor analysis (DFA) and the calculations of the structural validity (approximate-dispersing validity). Thus, a three-dimensional scale of 25 substances, which describes 47.13% of the total variance, was obtained. The internal consistency ratio calculated by Cronbach Alpha for scale reliability was .96. In this context, the validity and reliability of research and the proof of this scale is expected to be effectively used in student study groups.
