Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, paramedik bölümünde okuyan öğrencilerin meslektaşları ve mesleki beklentileri hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektedir. Yöntem: Bu çalışmanın evrenini, 2018-19 ve 2019-20 akademik yıllarında mezun olma hakkına sahip öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, literatür doğrultusunda araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan, üç bölümden oluşan veri toplama formu ile toplanmıştır. Formun ilk bölümü öğrencilerin tanıtıcı özellikleri hakkında 7 sorudan oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölüm, öğrencilerin meslektaşları hakkındaki görüşlerini iyi, orta ve kötü olarak ifade ettikleri 11 ifadeden oluşmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde, öğrencilerin mesleki beklentilerini belirlemek için ‘katılıyorum, kararsızım ve katılmıyorum’ seçeneklerini içeren 17 ifade (üçlü likert ölçeği) vardı. Veriler, %95’lik güven aralığında, anlamlılık p<0.05 şeklinde, Statistical Package for Social Sciences programında analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin meslektaşlarıyla ilgili görüşlerinin ortalama puanı 19.17±3.30 (iyi) ve mesleki beklentinin ortalama seviyesi 33.16±1.58’dir (yüksek). Sonuç: Çalışmaya göre; öğrencilerin meslektaşlarına yönelik görüşlerinin ve mesleki beklenti düzeylerinin yüksek/iyi olduğu belirlendi. Öğrencilerin meslektaşları hakkında görüşleri iyi, mesleki beklenti düzeyleri yüksek olsa da aksini belirttikleri ifadeler olduğu da unutulmamalıdır.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the opinions of students studying in the paramedic department about their colleagues and professional expectations. Method: The universe of this study is formed by students who have the right to graduate in 2018-19 and 2019-20 academic years. The data was collected in a form of data collection, which consists of three sections, prepared by researchers according to literature. The first part of the form consists of 7 questions about the student’s introductory characteristics. The second part consists of 11 statements that students express their opinions about their colleagues as good, medium and bad. In the third section, there were 17 expressions (three-fold likert scale) containing the options 'I agree, I'm unreliable and I'm not agree' to determine the professional expectations of students. The data was analyzed in a 95% confidence range, meaning p<0.05 in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences program. Results: The study results in the average score of students' opinions on their colleagues is 19.17±3.30 (good) and the average level of professional expectations is 33.16±1.58 (high). Results: The study found that students’ opinions and professional expectations were high/good. It should not be forgotten that the students’ opinions about their colleagues are good, and the professional expectations are high, but there are also statements that they point out the opposite.
Aim: The aim of this study is to determine of paramedic students’ opinions about their colleagues and professional expectations. The data were collected with a data collection form consisting of three parts, prepared by the researchers in line with the literature. The first part of the form consists of 7 questions about the demographic characteristics of the students. The second part consists of 11 statements in which students express their opinions about their colleagues as "good, moderate and bad". The evaluation in the department was made with a triple Likert scale in the directions of bad (0), moderate (1) and good (2). In the third part, there were 17 expressions (triple Likert scale) containing the options' I agree, undecided and disagree 'to determine students' professional expectations. The data were analyzed in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences program at 95% confidence interval, significance as p<0.05. Results: As a result of the study, the average score of students' opinions about their colleagues was 19.17±3.30 (good) and the average level of professional expectation was 33.16±1.58 (high). Conclusion: According to the study; It was determined that students' views towards their colleagues and their professional expectation levels were high/good. It should not be forgotten that although the students have good views about their colleagues and their professional expectation levels are high, there are expressions that they stated otherwise.
