Doğu Akdeniz’in en önemli ve en büyük adası olan Kıbrıs, stratejik konumu nedeniyle bölgede etkin olmayı başarmıştır. III. Haçlı seferinden sonra Kıbrıs’ta kurulan Haçlı Lusignan Krallığı adanın sahip olduğu konum ve özelliklerini kullanmaktan geri durmamıştır. Doğu Akdeniz’in en güçlü devletlerinden biri olmayı başaran bu Haçlı krallığı, Türkiye ile ilişkilerini devamlı surette canlı tutmuştur. Gerek Selçuklular ile gerekse onlardan sonra özellikle Antalya ve çevresine hâkim olan beyliklerle temasını sürdürmüştür. Türkiye topraklarında Moğol istilasından sonra ortaya birçok beylik çıkmıştır. Bunlardan biri olan Hamit oğulları, Isparta, Burdur ve Antalya civarına hâkim olmakla Türkiye topraklarının verimli ve ticaret yollarının bulunduğu önemli bir bölümüne sahip olmuştur. Özellikle Antalya’nın Akdeniz ticareti için sahip olduğu elverişli konum ve özellikler nedeniyle dönem itibariyle bir cazibe merkezi olduğunu belirtmek gerekir. Kıbrıs Haçlı krallığı ile Selçukluların en kudretli olduğu yıllarda (I. Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev) ticaret antlaşmaları yapılmıştır. Selçukluların çöküşü ile birlikte Türkiye’deki kargaşadan yararlanan Kıbrıs Haçlı Kralı I. Pierre, 1361 yılında Antalya’yı ele geçirdi. Dönem itibariyle bölgeye hâkim olan Hamitoğulları ile aralarında yaklaşık olarak 12 yıl boyunca kanlı mücadeleler olmuştur. Durumun boyutları, bölgesel bir hal alarak birçok beyliği de bu olaya dâhil olmaya zorlamıştır. Hamitoğulları’nın Antalya bölgesine hâkim olan ve Teke Beyliği olarak anılan kolu ile Kıbrıs Haçlı Krallığı arasındaki münasebetleri değerlendirmek bu çalışmanın amacı olacaktır.
Cyprus, the most important and largest island in the Eastern Mediterranean, has managed to become effective in the region due to its strategic location. and III. This Crown Kingdom, which has managed to become one of the strongest states in the Eastern Mediterranean, has kept its relations with Turkey continuously alive. The need for the Selchukles, if necessary, continued contact with them, especially with Antalya and its surrounding countryside. In Turkey there have been a lot of troops after the Mongol invasion. One of them, the Hamit sons, ruled around Isparta, Burdur and Antalya and had an important portion of the land of Turkey and the way of trade. It is important to note that especially because of the convenient location and features that Antalya has for the Mediterranean trade, it is an attraction center from time to time. In the years where the Crown Kingdom of Cyprus and the Selchukles were the most powerful (I. Giyaseddin Keyhüsrev) trade treaties were made. With the collapse of the Selchucks, Cyprus Crown King Pierre I, which took advantage of the turmoil in Turkey, captured Antalya in 1361. From the time to the time, there have been bloody struggles between the Hamito sons who ruled the area for about 12 years. The size of the situation, taking a regional state, has forced many people to be involved in this event. The aim of this work will be to evaluate the relationships between the arm and the Crown Kingdom of Cyprus, which governs the region of Antalya and is called the Teke Beyliği.
