Malatya yöresinde koyunlarda toxoplasmosisin seroprevalansını belirlemek amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada, değişik yaş ve ırkta toplam 220 koyundan kan alınmış, tekniğine uygun olarak serumları çıkarılmış ve Sabin-Feldman (SF) testi ile Toxoplasma gondii antikorları yönünden incelenmiştir. Toplam 220 koyunun 73'ünün (%33.2) serumunda Toxoplasma gondii yönünden 1/16 ile 1/1024 titreler arasında seropozitiflik saptanmıştır. 0-12 aylık ve bir yaşından büyük koyun gruplarındaki seropozitiflik oranı sırası ile %2.8 ve %47.7 olarak belirlenmiştir.
In this study with the aim of determining the seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis in cows in the Malatya region, a total of 220 cows of different ages and races were taken blood, the serums were removed according to the technique and the Sabin-Feldman (SF) test and the toxoplasma gondii antibodies were studied. Seropositivity in 73 (33.2%) of the total 220 sheep was determined between 1/16 and 1/1024 titres in the Toxoplasma gondii direction. The seropositivity rate in the 0-12 months old and older cows is 2.8% and 47.7% respectively.
