Covid-19 pandemisi çalışma yaşamını ve emekçi kitleleri derinden etkiledi. Yeterli sosyal korumanın sağlanamaması nedeniyle emekçi ve yoksul kesimler sağlıkları pahasına çalışmak zorunda bırakılmışlardır. Pandemi sürecinde işçilerin büyük bir kısmı gelir kayıpları yaşarken, buna karşın kısa çalışma ödeneğinden gelir kaybı yaşayanların büyük çoğunluğu faydalanamamıştır. Diğer bir ifade ile pandeminin emekçi kitlelerin gelirini olumsuz etkilediğini ve gelir güvencesizliği yarattığını söylemek mümkündür. Bu süreçte çalışanlara yönelik yeterli önlemin alınıp alınmadığı da bir tartışma konusudur. Ancak veriler, yeterli önlemin alınmadığına işaret etmektedir. İşyerlerinde yeterince önlem alınmadığı, bu nedenle işçilerden koronavirüse yakalananların sayısının her geçen gün arttığı yapılan araştırmalarla da ortaya konmuştur. Bu araştırmalarda işçilerin kendilerini ve işlerini tehlikede gördüklerine dair bulgular da elde edilmiştir. Pandemiden korunmanın en etkili yolunun hijyen, maske ve mesafe kurallarına uyulması gerektiği bilinmektedir. Fakat toplu bir şekilde çalışılan işyerlerinde bunun sağlan(a) madığına dair belirtiler var. Madenlerde, fabrikalarda, marketlerde, AVM’lerde işçilerin sermaye birikimi adına tehlikeye atıldığı ve eksik önlemler nedeniyle işyerlerindeki işçilere arasında Covid-19 vakalarının her gün arttığı ifade edilmektedir. Sıkı önlemlerin alındığı pandeminin ilk dönemlerinin ardından, yeni normalleşmeyle birlikte ilk açılan yerler alışveriş merkezleri olmuştur. Alışveriş merkezleri günümüzde kent yaşamı bağlamında hem ticaretin hem de sosyalleşmenin ana merkezleri konumuna gelmiştir. Bu da alışveriş merkezlerini birer çekim alanı haline getirmektedir. Buradan yüksek bir bulaşma ve yayılma gösteren Covid-19 pandemisi için de benzer bir çekim alanı niteliğine geldiğini ifade etmek mümkündür. Böyle bir durumda alışveriş merkezlerinde çalışanları da farklı tehlike ve riskler beklemektedir. Bu çalışmada pandemi koşullarında çalışmak zorunda kalan alışveriş merkezi işçilerinin çalışma koşulları ve onlara yönelik alınan önlemlerin niteliği analiz edilecektir. Bu amaçla öncelikle alışveriş merkezilerinde sunulan emeğin niteliği tartışılacaktır. Ardından AVM çalışanlarına ilişkin yapılmış olan çalışmalar ile pandemi sürecinin genel çalışma koşullarına dair literatür taraması yapılacaktır. Çalışmada daha sonra, alışveriş merkezlerinde çalışanlara dair alınan önlemler ve çalışma koşullarını tespit etmeye dair yapmış olduğumuz alan çalışmasının bulgularının aktarımı ve analizi yapılacaktır.
The Covid-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the working life and the working masses. Due to the lack of sufficient social protection, workers and poor sections have been forced to work at the expense of their health. While the majority of workers in the pandemic process suffered income losses, the majority of those who suffered income losses from short work payments did not benefit. In other words, it is possible to say that the pandemic has a negative impact on the income of the working masses and has created income uncertainty. It is also a matter of debate whether adequate measures were taken against the workers in this process. But the data indicate that there are not sufficient measures taken. Research has also shown that there are not enough measures taken in their workplaces, and therefore the number of people captured by the coronavirus from workers increases every day. These researches also found that workers see themselves and their jobs in danger. It is known that the most effective way to protect against pandemic is to follow the rules of hygiene, mask and distance. But there are signs of the workplace that is provided (a) in their collective workplace. In mines, factories, markets, and AVMs, workers are being threatened for their capital accumulation and the number of Covid-19 cases among workers in their workplaces is increased every day due to lack of measures. After the first periods of the pandemic in which strict measures were taken, the first places opened with the new normalization were shopping centers. Shopping centers have become the main centers of both trade and socialization in the context of urban life today. This also makes the shopping centers a drawing area. From here it is possible to say that the Covid-19 pandemic, which shows a high infection and spread, has a similar drawing area character. In such a case, the employees in the shopping centers also expect different risks and risks. This study will analyze the working conditions of the shopping center workers who are forced to work under pandemic conditions and the nature of the measures taken towards them. For this purpose, the nature of the work offered in the shopping centers will be discussed first. The study of the AVM employees and the literary scan of the general working conditions of the pandemic process will be carried out. The study will then transfer and analyze the findings of the field work we have done to identify the measures taken against the employees in the shopping centers and the working conditions.
