Every religion with an eschatology speaks of global catastrophes, and promises an absolute happy ending for their believers. The expectations formed in line with the narratives of religious texts that state there will be a ‘global destruction’ and then a ‘happy life’ are a very powerful motivator for both the individual and the society. Even though the reality or plausibility of the prophecies is open to debate, the fact that such an expectation exists is an undeniable fact. The strength of an expectation is the belief that it will come true. Expectations shaped by religious expressions have existed in the subconscious of societies throughout history, influenced the perceptions of individuals and played an active role in determining the attitudes of societies. The perceptions that develop with the emotions that arise under the influence of the narratives of religious texts have been effective in deciding how individuals and societies will behave. For this reason, determining the motives that affect the perceptions and attitudes of people who believe in Semitic religions constitutes the main problem of the research. It is aimed to describe the narratives in book of Ezekiel and book of Daniel that is deemed sacred by Jews and Christians, and the Apocalypse of John that is deemed sacred by Christians, to evaluate the findings in comparison with the Islamic literature, and to classify the themes that show similarities. First of all, subjects such as portents of doom, the end of the world and the life after death, which are told in Semitic texts, are described. Later, the cases defined thematically were classified phenomenologically. Finally, factual similarities or differences in religious texts are stated. As a result, some similarities were found. These similarities do not have the exact same features in absolute terms, but the facts that show some similarities or closeness in terms of the theme described in the texts, the characters mentioned in the events, the names of the characters, their actions or the results they cause are associated with each other. Every religion that talks about disasters or wars that will take place before the apocalypse, defends that its followers are absolutely right and upon truth, and claims that their followers will achieve salvation and victory thanks to the divine grace. Every religion promises its believers an absolute happy ending in the afterlife. In addition, it is possible to find a belief in savior in every religion, but this savior will not come to save not all the people of the world, but only to the followers of the religion in question.
