Abstract:

The aim of this research is to show whether the level of perception of the career future of university students differs or not according to different variables. The model of the research is representative of the quantum research methods. The research group consists of 508 students studying at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. To determine the perception of the career future of the researchers, the Career Future Scale (KARGEL) was developed by Rottinghaus, Day and Borgen (2005). The only sample to determine whether the measurements are appropriate for normal distribution was the Kolmogorov Smirnov Test. Career compatibility low-dimensions show normal distribution because t and Anova tests apply meaning P>. In the solution and interpretation of the data, as it was taken 05 but not showed normal distribution in other dimensions, the meaning level P<.05 was taken using the Kruskal Wallis-H test and Mann Whitney-U test. The SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program is used to evaluate data and find calculated values. Students participating in the study’s overall career future size average (Ort.=83,58) and career future sub-dimensions career optimism score average (Ort.=36,65) at the middle level, career compatibility sub-dimensional score average (Ort.=37,61) at the high level and business-related perception knowledge at the middle level (Ort.=9,31) at the middle level. According to the personal characteristics of the university students' career future perception levels of the father's state of education, "How do you evaluate your free time?" And “Do you have difficulty evaluating your free time?”  While there is a significant difference according to the variables, the other variables (age, gender, income status Mother education, active sporting status and free time sufficient?) There was no meaningful difference.
