So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

2011

Author:
Abstract:

History and Development of the Anthropology of Turkey
2011
Author:
Abstract:

The history of anthropology, which means "human science", goes to the beginning of the 20th century in our country. In the first years of the Republic, anthropological studies began with the support of Atatürk. In these years, biological/physical anthropology studies are majority. But from the mid-1930s, it is seen that, in parallel to increasing rural research, social anthropology studies have increased, especially with the establishment of the "Royal Institutes". Today, due to the geographical location of Anatolia, the natural and cultural history of man and the importance of today, both social and biological/physical anthropology studies are progressing parallel to each other. In this article, first and foremost, this area, which is unknown, though has such a long history in our country, is introduced with its main lines and is included in information about its history in Turkey.
