Abstract:

Purpose: Neodymyum in the treatment of back capsule opasification (ACC): Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (Nd: YAG) laser capsulotomy assessing whether laser creates quantitative changes in the macular and peripapils microvascular structures and coryocapils. Tools and Methods: A total of 186 patients studied with capsulotomy for ACK with total energy under 50 mJ and without damaging the front vitreus with the Nd: YAG laser. The inflammation and increase in eye pressure (GIB) that may develop after laser was controlled by drug treatment. 59 patients, who meet the study criteria, were examined with optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT-angiography within 1⁄2 hour after laser. Twenty-eight patients were also measured because the other eyes had an intraocular sputum and because there was no ACK. The measurements of the other eyes were compared to the measurements of the eyes treated with laser. The findings: there was no difference between macular microvascular vascular intensities (VYs), which were measured and measured within half an hour after the laser, the radial peripapillary capillary VYs, the coryocapillary flow areas, the thickness of the retina nerve fluid layer, the macular thickness, the subfoveal coroid thickness. There was no difference between the measurements in the other eyes and the measurements in the eyes treated with laser. The result: Capsylotomide made for ACC, then keeping the inflammation and the increase in GIB under control, with no high total energy and without disturbance of the front vitre, the Nd: YAG laser was observed as safe as a result that there were no quantitative changes in coriocapils, macular and peripapils microvascularites.
