Later, this instrument was administered to 2043 students. The factor structure of the instrument was examined through confirmatory factor analysis. A series of CFA’s was conducted and the six-factor structure of the original instrument was confirmed for Turkish language. Reliability evidences for these measures have been provided by calculating Cronbach α values. Based on CFA results and Cronbach α values, it is concluded that the instrument could yield valid and reliable measures of psychological and cognitive engagement and their five components for Turkish students
