Sosyal hizmet eğitiminde uygulama dersleri, öğrencilerin teorik düzeydeki bilgi kümesini ve müdahale becerilerini, yaparak öğrenmelerini hedefleyen derslerdir. Bu derslerin, sosyal hizmet eğitimi müfredatında nicelik ve nitelik olarak nasıl olması gerektiği uluslararası ve ulusal standartlarla belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırmada 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılı güz dönemi itibariyle Türkiye’de örgün sosyal hizmet lisans eğitimi veren 67 programın uygulama derslerinin “Ulusal Sosyal Hizmet Eğitim-Öğretim Standartları” çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla programların internet siteleri taranarak veri toplanmıştır. Sosyal hizmet programlarında uygulama derslerinin ağırlıklı olarak yedi ve sekizinci yarıyıllarda gerçekleştirildiği, programların birçoğunun internet sitelerinde uygulama derslerine ilişkin (derslerle ilgili bir koordinatörlük olup olmama durumu, ders saatleri, derslerin yürütülme biçimine ilişkin bir uygulama yönergesi olup olmaması gibi) herhangi bir uygulama yönergesinin yer almadığı belirlenmiştir. “Ulusal Sosyal Hizmet Eğitim-Öğretim Standartları”na uygun bir biçimde müfredatlarındaki uygulama derslerine ilişkin bir yönergeyi görünür bir şekilde internet sayfalarında paylaşan programların sayısının ise 16 (%24) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Covid-19 ile birlikte uzaktan eğitime geçişte eğitim öğretimle ilgili tüm süreçlerin internet tabanlı yürütülmek zorunda kalındığı bir ortamda uygulama derslerine ilişkin açık, anlaşılır bir rehberi internet sayfasında yayınlayan yalnızca bir program bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca programlardaki öğretim elemanlarının yalnızca %25’inin hem lisans hem de lisansüstü eğitiminin sosyal hizmet olduğu görülmüştür.
Practical courses in social work education are courses that aim to learn students' theoretical knowledge and intervention skills by doing. The quantity and quality of these courses in the social work education curriculum have been determined by international and national standards. In this research, it is aimed to evaluate the practice courses of 67 programs that provide formal social work undergraduate education in Turkey as of the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, within the framework of "National Social Work Education Standards". For this purpose, data were collected by scanning the websites of the programs. It has been determined that the number of programs that visibly share a directive regarding the practice courses in their curriculum in accordance with the "National Social Work Education Standards" is 16 (24%). In an environment where all processes related to education and training have to be carried out online-based in the transition to distance education with Covid-19, there is only one program that publishes a clear and understandable guide on practice courses on its website. In addition, only 25% of the instructors in the programs have both undergraduate and graduate education in social work.
