The aim of this study is to understand the behaviors of the youth to buy clothes in their adolescence period, and to determine the similarities as well as the differences of the behaviors between those who live in rural areas and those who live in urban areas. All of the data of the research were selected from rural and urban areas. The data of the research consists of a total of 215 persons who are high school students at ages like 16,17 and 18. Survey method was used in this research. The survey included 15 questions for determining the behaviors of the adolescents when they buy clothes. The SPPS software was used for the evaluation of the survey results. The obtained data was laid out in percentage and frequency tables. In this study, it has been observed that the adolescents who live in rural and urban areas performs psychologically the same purchase behaviors when they buy clothes, and that they prefer the criteria which are economically just the opposite of each other.
