Bireylerin maruz kalmış olduğu stresin performansları ile etkileşiminin incelemesine yönelik olarak yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmada, Ankara/Yenimahalle Belediye Başkanlığı’nda görev yapmakta olan 265 memur ile yapılan anket çalışması sonrası elde edilen bulgular yer almaktadır. Yapmış olduğumuz çalışmada katılımcıların demografik özelliklerinin maruz kalmış oldukları stres ve sergilemiş oldukları performansa ne gibi etkisinin olduğu incelenmiş, katılımcıların demografik özelliklerinden yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum ve kurumda çalışma sürelerinin stres seviyelerini anlamlı derecede etkilemediği, eğitim durumunda ise eğitim seviyesi yükseldikçe bireylerin stres seviyesinin arttığı gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışanların iş gücü performanslarının örgütsel stres faktörlerinden etkilenme düzeyleri iş başarısı ve iş doyumu şeklinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışanların performansları, iş başarısı ve iş doyumu örgütsel stres faktörlerinden anlamlı derecede etkilendiği görülmüştür. Buna göre çalışanların örgütsel stres seviyesinin optimum seviyede iş gücü performansını artırdığı ancak örgütsel stres seviyesi optimum seviyenin üzerine çıktığı durumda ise iş gücü performanslarında düşüş meydana geldiği söylenebilir.
In this study we have done in order to study the performance of the stress that individuals have been exposed to and their interaction, the findings obtained after the survey work with 265 officials who are in office in Ankara/Yenimahalle Municipality. In the study we conducted, the demographic characteristics of the participants were studied how the impact of the stress they were exposed and the performance they showed, the demographic characteristics of the participants were not significantly influenced by the stress levels of age, gender, civil status and time of work in the institution, and in the case of education the level of education increased by the level of stress of individuals. The levels of employment performance influenced by organizational stress factors of employees are addressed in the form of work success and work satisfaction. Workers’ performance, work success and work satisfaction have been significantly influenced by organizational stress factors. According to this, the level of organizational stress of employees increases the workforce performance at an optimal level, but if the level of organizational stress exceeds the optimal level, it can be said that the workforce performance has decreased.
This study concentrates on examining the interaction between the individuals’ exposure of stress and their job performance and this study includes empirical evidence with respect to a written-questionnaire administered to 265 officers currently working at Yenimahalle Municipality in Ankara. This study investigates how respondents’ demographic characteristics may have an impact on their stress and job performance. Results reveal that, respondents’ other demographic characteristics such as age, gender, marital status and their job experience do not have a statistically significant impact on their level of stress, while results also indicate that when their educational status increases, their job stress also increases. The impact of job stress on job performance was also handled regarding job success and job satisfaction. The empirical evidence of this study indicates that employees’ job performance was statistically significantly affected by job success and job satisfaction. According to this, it can be said that the organizational stress level increases the labor force performance at the optimum level but when the organizational stress level exceeds the optimum level, there is a decrease in the labor force performance.
