Economic evaluation of CT and MR equipment in respect of health technology for a hospital, and determination of priority of this technology in investment projects can be an example of implementation such practices.Materials-Methods: Cost-utility analysis as an economic evaluation method and net present value as a project evaluation method were used in this research. Technologies were evaluated from provider perspective. Data were received from literature search, interviews with hospital staff and expert viewsResults: Net present value of CT was found higher than net present value of MR in this research. At the same time, it was found that cost utility ratio of CT is higher than MR. Conclusion: Under limitations and assumptions, it is concluded that CT has more priority than MR, and CT is a more efficient technology than MR for a hospital
