Abstract:

Bu çalışmada gönül, yürek ve kalp kelimelerinin eş anlamlılık derecesini belirleyebilmek için Eski Türkçe, Karahanlı, Harezm, Eski Anadolu, Osmanlı ve Türkiye Türkçesi dönemleri için bütünce oluşturulmuştur. Bu bütünce dâhilindeki yazılı metinlerden derlenen örnekler Partington’un uygunluk analizi ve Firth’ün sözcüğün eş dizimlilerinin onun anlamının bir parçasını içermesi gerektiği görüşünden yararlanılarak incelenmiştir. Her döneme ait metinler incelendiğinde üç kelimenin de birbirinin yerine geçebildiği bağlamların olduğu görülmüştür. Eski Anadolu Türkçesi Döneminin sonlarında kullanımı yaygınlaşan kalp kelimesi hem gönül kelimesinin hem de yürek kelimesinin anlam alanlarına girerek kullanımını yaygınlaştırmıştır
