Abstract:

With the entrance of mass communications to our lives, many research has also begun to appear in the field. The criticism that the media has an unilateral impact and that individuals are exposed to this impact has begun to change direction along with social media. For some, liberation, for some, the only way for democracy, even the social media, which is defined as the rebirth of the media, this time has brought a different form of agenda determination into literature. This is the way the social media determines the agenda of the mass media. Daily determination research has been pushed into discussions on the way that social media has started to investigate this issue and determines the agenda of traditional means of communication. This study also investigated the influence of Twitter, which was considered an influence as a news messenger in the framework of the example of "release of marriage programs", on the media agenda. At the end of the study, the example axis of the Marriage Programs found that Twitter determined the agenda of the traditional media.
