Abstract:

We see that the service sector has evolved very rapidly over the past few years compared to other sectors and that the contribution of women to it is important. This study was conducted in order to address the problems of small and medium-sized enterprises that continue to operate in the service sector where their share in the country’s economy increases. The study surveyed a total of 101 micro (1-9 employees), small (10-50 employees) and medium (51-250 employees) companies operating in different types of services. According to the research findings, women are partially aware of the solution of many problems, such as how corporationalization will take place, what financial resources they will benefit from, what innovations they should go to in marketing. But they lack to take advantage of specialists to fix these deficiencies. Women are persistent in their habits that sometimes prevent their growth, which continues from the past to the present.
