Amaç: Mezuniyet öncesi tıp eğitiminde profesyonalizm ve iletişim becerilerinin 360 derece değerlendirme yöntemiyle belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmada 360 derece değerlendirme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Acil Servis’te staj yapan intern doktorlar için 360 derece değerlendirme yöntemi kullanılarak birlikte çalıştığı ekip üyelerinden, akranlarından ve hastalardan intern doktoru değerlendirmesi istenmiştir. 837 anket formu analiz edilmiştir. Anketler kapalı zarflar içinde verilmiş ve geri alınmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada elde edilen veriler analiz edildiğinde intern doktorların profesyonalizm ve iletişim becerilerine verilen puan ortalaması; öğretim üyesi= 4,29, uzmanlık öğrencisi doktor için=4,63, hemşireler için=4,05, sekreterler için=3,81, paramedikler için=4,19, hastalar için=4,38, akran intern doktorlar için ise=4,57 olarak bulunmuştur (en düşük=1,yüksek=5). İntern doktorlarınyüksek puan aldığı gruplar uzmanlık öğrencisi doktor ve akran intern doktorlardır. İntern doktorlarındüşük puan aldığı gruplar ise sekreterler, hemşireler ve paramediklerdir. “Uzmanlık öğrencisi doktor” ile “hemşire”lerin intern doktorlara verdikleri puanlar arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde bir ilişki (r=0,515; p=0,003<0,05), “Uzmanlık öğrencisi doktor” ve “akran”ların intern doktorlara verdikleri puanlar arasında pozitif yönlü güçlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur (r=0,620; p=0,000<0,05). “Hemşire” ve “sekreter”lerin intern doktorlara verdikleri puanlar arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde bir ilişki (r=0,595; p=0,000<0,05), “Hemşire” ve “paramedik”lerin intern doktorlara verdikleri puanlar arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur (r=0,431; p=0,016<0,05). Sonuç: Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre intern doktorların memnun edici derecede profesyonel davranışlar sergilediği ve hem sağlık bakım ekibi üyeleri hem de hastalarla iletişimlerinin iyi olduğu görülmüştür.
Purpose: The aim is to determine the professionalism and communication skills in pre-graduate medical education through a 360-degree assessment method. Method: The study used a 360 degree assessment method. Internal doctors who are staging in the Emergency Service are asked to evaluate the internal doctors from the team members, colleagues and patients who work with using the 360 degree assessment method. The 837 forms were analyzed. The queries were given in closed containers and returned. Results: When the data obtained in the study were analyzed, the average score given to the professionalism and communication skills of the intern doctors; the faculty member = 4,29, the specialist student for the doctor = 4,63, for the nurses = 4,05, for the secretaries = 3,81, for the paramedics = 4,19, for the patients = 4,38, and for the associate intern doctors = 4,57 (lowest = 1, highest = 5). Internal doctorsThe high-ranking groups are specialized student doctors and co-internal doctors. The groups that receive low scores from internal doctors are secretaries, nurses and paramedics. There was a positive-oriented middle-level relationship between the "student doctor" and the "inheritors" score given to the intern doctors (r=0,515; p=0,003<0,05), the "student doctor" and the "acran" score given to the intern doctors (r=0,620; p=0,000<0,05). There was a positive middle-level relationship between the points given by the "infermier" and the "secretary" to the intern doctors (r=0,595; p=0,000<0,05), and a positive middle-level relationship between the points given by the "infermier" and the "paramedic" to the intern doctors (r=0,431; p=0,016<0,05). Results: The research found that intern doctors show satisfactory professional behavior and that both members of the health care team and patients communicate well.
