The issues of promotion and translation of the Azerbaijani literature in Uzbekistan: ancient period and modern stage

Abstract:

The Azerbaijani literature as in other Turkic-speaking countries is also well received in Uzbekistan. Works by such classics as Nizami Ganjavi, Imadaddin Nasimi, Mahammad Fuzuli have been published with a large circulation in Uzbekistan. It is not accidental Uzbek writers, poets and translators’ appealing to the Azerbaijani literature. Translation of works by both classic and modern writers and poets into Uzbek is related to same lineage, similarity of traditions, at the same time value of the works. Works by Hasanoghlu, Seid Azim Shirvani, Mirza Fatali Akhundov, Molla Penah Vagif, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, Husein Javid, Samad Vurghun, Rasul Rza are read with a great interest by Uzbek readers. In the article is noted a great influence of Nizami, Fuzuli and Nasimi’s creativity in formation of Uzbek literary heritage. There is an undeniable role and great service of Maksud Sheikzadeh, Miraziz Azamin, Razzak Abdurrajid Jumaniyaz Jabbarov, Ibrahim Gafurov, Usman Kuchkar, Feyzi Shahismayil, Tahir Gahhar, Karim Bahriyv, Mamatkul Hazratkulov.
