Abstract:

This study is aimed at developing a recovery scale for high school students. In the framework of the study, first material pool was created, after receiving expert opinions, the first form of the 19 material scale was applied to 364 high school students. Subject analysis was then done. A factor analysis was conducted to identify the factor structure of the measurement. For the factor reversal process, the factors are related to each other, the Direct Oblimin method has been used. The Opening Factor Analysis resulted in a 15 material structure collected under 3 factors. The total variance value described for this structure is 48.125%. For the purpose of verifying the achieved factor structure, the form data of the scale applied to 337 high school students was carried out using the verifying factor analysis AMOS program. The results of the analysis performed for this purpose have determined the values of Cmin/Df, GFI, TLI, IFI, CFI and RMSEA conformity indices and the standardized regression weights for substances in scale. The verifying factor analysis is repeated with the extract of the remaining 1 substance with a standardized regression weight below 0.5 . It is confirmed that the final state of the scale consists of 3 dimensions and 14 substances. To determine the reliability of the scale obtained, the Cronbach Alpha ratio was calculated and found as 0.856.
