Abstract:

In the broad geographical area in which the Turkish society lives, the popular stories, which are from the verbal cultural elements seen by different names, icons and forms of execution, are of the literary kinds that have been created and established by aesthetic approach in the period in which they live, transmitted by word and writing and transmitted by new literary creations. The width of the boundaries in which Turkish communities have lived, which have been in constant movement since the early periods of history, has led to a difference in the line of literary development, the lifestyle that has been lived accordingly. However, people's stories have been common stories of Turkish groups living in different regions of the Turkish geography. A lot of research has been done about the people's stories because it contains important information about Turkish culture. One of these studies is the work named Ismet Çetin’s Turkish People’s History in the field of Turkey, which collectively tells the people’s history and provides valuable information.
