Abstract:

In this study, it is intended to reveal whether the ancient Turkish beliefs in Central Silverhouse and its districts are a cultural determinant. It is known in ancient times that supernatural powers were admired, that Turks had the faith in Heaven God before they met Islamism, and the influence of Shamanism on Turks. Based on this information, the Talk Technique was used in Gümüşhane to investigate whether ancient Turkish beliefs from the past to the present are continuous. In the study, some beliefs and practices in the funeral and sadness ceremonies were studied in titles, as well as beliefs and practices related to Nazareth, fire and January cults, tree cults, water flows and rivers, as well as news expectation from the cracks, underground bees and fish, who will sit at the gate edge will be hit or disappointed, and today, many common beliefs, traditions and appearances in the Gümüşhane area have been found to be linked to the ancient Turkish faith. It is believed that the data obtained from the study will contribute significantly to the experts of the subject that are interested in the cultures and family structures of ancient Turkish peoples, as well as the cultural structure of the Gümüşhane province and the historic development in this framework.
