Abstract:

Extreme-right political parties and movements have risen in recent years, especially in many European countries. Civil wars in the geography where Turkey is within and therefore external interventions in the region have led to the migrants to leave the area where they are, and toward relatively safer areas. Most of the refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq pass from Turkey to Greece through the Eastern Mediterranean migration route. The human flow through the Western Balkans migration route affects more countries such as Serbia and Hungary. The Mediterranean migration route, where the transition from Libya to Malta and Italy, has been the main route for people from African countries, especially since 2016. The approach of the borders of European countries to conflict or war zones is undoubtedly a factor in this. Basically, this study aims to explain through the electoral processes the extent of the foreign hostility that the population mobility in the European countries creates.
