In this study, the surface of the AISI 4340 steel was modified with toilet powder using the gas tungsten ark (TIG or GTA) technique. Depending on the production parameters in the microbuildings of covered materials, the WC, along with the W2C phases, in different forms and proportions, identified the ecological solidification product. The hardness values increased significantly due to the presence of current phases and carbs in the structure. The microserity values varied between 1000-1200 HV throughout the upper layer thickness while a decrease in the hardness values (650-800 HV) was observed as it was moved towards the intersectional surface. The highest hardness (1184 HV) was obtained from the coating material produced at a production rate of 1,209 mm/s at 0.5 g/s powder feed value and 13.9 kJ/cm energy input.
