Bu çalışmada Hanif kavramının meâllere nasıl yansıdığı ele alınmaktadır. Hanif kelimesi Kur’an-ı Kerim’de tekil ve çoğul şekliyle toplamda on iki ayette geçmektedir. Bunlardan 10 tanesi “Hanif” olarak geçerken 2 tanesi ise “Hunefa” şeklinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu kelime, tevhidin, samimiyetin ve teslimiyetin adı olmakla beraber, İslam âlimleri tarafından İslam öncesi döneme kadar Arap Yarımadasında Hz. İbrahim’in dini olarak kabul edilmektedir. Fakat bu kavramın müstakil bir din olduğu değil bir sıfat olduğu tezi de savunulmaktadır. Haniflik, Hz. Peygamber’in risaleti döneminde ve İslam öncesi dönemde de birtakım kişilerin sıfatı olarak kabul görmüştür. Hanif kavramı yalnız Kur’an-ı Kerim’de değil, dinin ikinci kaynağı olan hadislerde de geçmektedir. “Allâh’ın kullarını Hanifler olarak yarattığı, Allâh’a en sevimli olan dinin müsamahakâr Hanif dini olduğu, Peygamber efendimizin kolaylaştırılmış Haniflik üzerine gönderildiği” hadis kaynaklarında aktarılmaktadır. Üzerinde çalıştığımız Hanif kavramının meâllere aktarılırken genel olarak meâl yazarlarının bu kelimenin geçtiği ayeti de dikkate alarak ortaya çıkan anlam bağlamında tercüme ettikleri görülmektedir. Aynı zamanda Hanif kavramının ihtiva ettiği anlam yönünden zengin olması, meâl yazarlarının çevirilerine bu kelimeyi farklı anlamlarla yansıtmasında da belirleyici olmuştur. Hanif kavramı genel itibarıyla “muvahhid”, “Allâh’ı birleyen”, “Hakka yönelen”, “Hak din”, “her türlü batıl inançtan yüz çeviren”, “sahte olan her şeyden yüz çeviren”, “Allâh’ı bir olarak tanıyan”, “dosdoğru”, “tek Allâh’a inanan”, “küfür ve şirkten uzak”, olarak çevrilmektedir. Ayrıca bu kavram Kur’an-ı Kerim’de yedi yerde Hz. İbrahim’le bütünleşmiş olarak ön plana çıkmakta ve O’nun bir sıfatı olarak zikredilmektedir.
In this study, it is dealt with how the term of “Hanif” is reflected to meanings. The word of “Hanif” takes part with its singular and plural forms twelf times in the Quran in total. Ten of them take part as “Hanif” while two of them is used as “Hunefa”. This word is seen as a sign of monotheism, sincerity and devotion. Also, this word had been accepted as a prophet Abrahams religion in the Arabian peninsula until pre- Islamic period. But this term is also accepted as an adjective and it is put forward that this term is not a religion which exist. “Hanifism” had been seen as nickname of some people in pre- Islamic period And during the prophethood of Muhammed. The term of “ Hanif” is not only taking part in the Quran is also taking part in the books which include the prophet Muhammed’s deeds. ( This book is the second source of Islamic.). In the books which tell us prophet Muhammed deeds, it is told that Allâh creates people with Hanif” nickname. And also prophet Muhammed is sent to tell people easy version of “ hanifism”. When the word of “ Hanif” is interpreted, we see that interpreters mostly interpret it according to their understanding. Also the meanings of the term of “Hanif “reflect the meanings of the writers who translate the books which include the words of the prophet Muhammed. At the same time, the fact that the concept of Hanif is rich in terms of meaning has been a determining factor in the translations of translation writers of this word with different meanings. The term of “hanifism“ is usually translated as “ muvahhid” (The people who believe monotheism, the people who not believe any superstition, the people who see Allâh is the only god, the people who believe honestly Allâh is the one, the people who avoid polytheism). Also, this term is used as an adjective which integrated with the prophet Abraham and it defines prophet Abraham seven times in Quran.
