Abstract:

The roots of the University of Fiskesir Necatibey Education Faculty stands up to the Karesi Darülmuallimini, founded in October of 1910. Therefore, the institution has approximately a hundred and thirteen years of educational experience. It is valuable and important to explore how this experience creates a corporate structure. In this study, the corporate identity of the Necatibey Education Faculty was revealed through communications. However, the culture of the period was also discussed. Therefore, a social history reading was carried out in the work. The study adopted the method of document analysis in the framework of the Qualitative Research Approach has taken into account the correspondence in the student files found in the Necatibey Education Faculty Archive. It has been revealed on which subjects and between whom they are being made. In addition, the text of the correspondence was studied by which units when considered the period of study and which procedure and writing form were created using. According to the study, through the discussed communications, the institution’s culture and identity and the process of the period’s communications are based on documents and detailed. In this regard, the conservation and arrangement of the institutional archives, more archive work is recommended.
