The first years of the child that is also called infancy are the cornerstones of the development of the child. Infancy is of great importance because the baby acquires the basic knowledge and skills in these early years. Activities are very important in the development of the baby. It is also very important to ensure the child wears comfortable clothes which are made of fabrics that will not harm the child's sensitive skin and which allow the child to move freely and to feel comfortable. Additionally, clothing affects the mental health as well as the physical health of the child. Suitable and comfortable clothes worn by the child during the game facilitate the movement of muscles and bones, contribute to the development of the child's feeling of confidence, and make the child more active and happy. Since it is the parents who purchase baby and children's clothes, it is very important for every parent to be informed about the importance of wearing comfort and to make a purchasing choice for their babies and children in this direction. In this study, by emphasizing the parameters such as functionality, fabric raw material, and fabric texture that affect the wearing comfort in baby clothes, and suggestions were made about the points to be considered in baby clothes preferences.
