Abstract:

In the name of the transmission of social values and cultural codes characterized by the Anatolian geography through the performance of Turkish folk music to the present day, many copying works have been done from the past to the present day. Many artists have participated voluntarily in this collection work aimed at displaying and preserving common products belonging to the Anadolu people's culture. One of these artists is Emin Aldemir. Aldemir; in the corners of the Turkish notes, sometimes the source person, sometimes the collector or notary identity, has served the Turkish folk music in important services. Emin Aldemir, who has been a member of the Ankara Radio Yurttan Sounds Society for many years, has also developed himself in the writing of notes and has made serious contributions to the transcription of notes of the turks collected to Muzaffer Sarısözen, one of the listening names of Turkish folk music. This study is important in terms of its contribution to a small number of works in literature related to the editorial activities in Turkish folk music and is the first time in the subject in Turkey. However, the purpose of the study is to detail the composer, artist, executive and educational identity of Emin Aldemir, who has been in valuable services to Turkish folk music. The work is structured according to the method. With Emin Aldemir's composition work, it has been achieved that he has earned a lot of turns to the THM repertoire and has led some people's music artists with his executive and educational identity.
