Abstract This paper debates how network journalism has transformed the production and circulation of news and processes such as gatekeeping and agenda setting through the interdependent action of ordinary people, journalists, organizations and digital technologies (such as blogs, Twitter, Facebook and Flipboard). Finally, an analysis is conducted about the interactions in the Flipboard application aiming to demonstrate how they promote the construction of what was called informational media mix.
