Türk edebiyat tarihimizin pek bilinmeyen simalarından olan Mustafa Remzi’nin gizli kalmış birçok hikâyesi, Fatih Özdemir’in titiz çalışmasıyla günümüz alfabesine aktarılarak yazın dünyasına kazandırılmıştır.
Many of the hidden stories of Mustafa Remzi, one of the very unknown symbols of our Turkish literature history, have been translated into today’s alphabet by the strict work of Fatih Özdemir to the summer world. Mustafa Remzi, whose interest was awakened in the period when Özdemir wrote his doctoral work in the Turkish novel, is also worth consideration because he was the first to mention the white Russian refugees living in Istanbul with his discovery. In fact, the story of the "Pastor Girl" is important in terms of the White Russian refugees' one aspect of the subject. In general, in all the stories in this work, social gender, women and men relationships, Istanbul entertainment life, family life, neighborhood culture are treated and these aspects are emphasized in the "Sunuş" section that Özdemir took the pen. This work of Fatih Özdemir is valuable not only in literature, but also in literary sociology, in the direction of bringing the text of Mustafa Remzi to the light of the day to the social life of the period, to the social transformation and to the punishment processes of this transformation. As Özdemir also noted in the "Sunsh" section, it is clear that Mustafa Remzi served for purposes such as popularity and gaining profits when writing these texts, and that literary value and sensitivity are not among the priority targets, however, it can be said that these stories have an original quality thanks to the social life elements they contain.
