Abstract:

Bu araştırmada Necip Mahfuz tarafından yazılan Savrulan Kahire adlı romanın Türkçe çevirisindeki dil oyunları Vinay ve Darbelnet ile Toury’nin kuramları ışığında incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın en temel argümanı, yapılan çeviri incelemesi veya eleştirisinin bilimsel bir niteliğe sahip olabilmesi için en önemli şartı belirli kuramlar ışığında değerlendirilmesi, böylelikle de, kuramsal çerçeveye oturtulmuş olması gerektiğidir. Bu çalışmadaki araştırma modeli doküman incelemesidir. Elde edilen bulgular, araştırmanın sonuç bölümünde tartışılmıştır.
