Abstract:

The aim of this study is to examine the Erzincan folk songs, whose source person is Ali Ekber Çiçek, in the TRT repertoire in terms of value emphases and values education. In the research was used Qualitative research method. In the research in the data collection process was used documentary scanning technique. TRT Turkish Folk Music repertoire was scanned in order to identify the folk songs of Ali Ekber ÇİÇEK. A total of 20 Erzincan folk songs, whose source person is Ali Ekber ÇİÇEK, have been identified from the TRT Turkish Folk Music repertoire. The data were analyzed by content analysis method. In the analysis of the data, the words of the folk songs belonging to the Erzincan region were examined, and values such as justice, love, respect, love, morality, heroism, courage, freedom, responsibility, honesty, war, peace were determined through frequency analysis and the findings were presented in tables. In these folk songs, values were processed a total of 102 times and the most used "Love" value was processed in a total of 18 folk songs. On the other hand, values such as “Loyalty”, “Honesty-Truthfulness”, “Patience”, “Modest”, “Respect”, “Courage”, “Trust”, “Forgiveness”, “Gratitude”, “Compassion” are frequently mentioned, and “Justice”. ” and “Alignment” values were not processed. In addition, it has been seen that 10 different values are processed in the folk song called "Hazin Hazin Esen Seher Yelleri", which is another remarkable result.
