Abstract:

Depo management is one of the most critical topics of supply chain management. The correct forecast of the future and the right choice of the place and technology of the deposit will allow the company to a competitive position according to its competitors. The increased demand for drugs as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic has shown the importance of the drug warehouses. Therefore, in the study, it is intended to provide recommendations in the Mersin region specifically on the choice of place for the prescribed drug warehouses. In this framework, the ten criteria determined by the literary research results were evaluated by three expert opinions and emphasized by the SWARA method. 10 different alternative settlements, determined criteria and criteria weights were then analyzed with MOORA and OCRA from multi-criteria decision making techniques. The most suitable drug warehouse problem was solved as the result of the study that both methods produced similar results.
