Karar verme süreci insan yaşamının her alanında yüz yüze kaldığı bir gerçektir. Bu çalışmada Tıpta Uzmanlık Alan Seçiminde alternatifler ve süreci etkileyen kriterler göz önüne alınarakçok tercih edilen uzmanlık alanları çok kriterli karar verme teknikleri kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi uzman doktorlarından 119’u dâhil edilmiştir. Kriterlerin karşılaştırılması amaçlanarak 11 uzman doktor ile yapılan anketlerin sonucu Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (AHP) ile çözümlenmiştir. Uzman doktorların kendi uzmanlık alanlarında belirlenen kriterlerin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanarak, 39 uzmanlık alanı ve her alandan 3 uzman doktor ile görüşülerek yapılan anketlerin sonuçları Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS) ile analiz edilmiş ve elde edilen sonuçlar TOPSIS tekniği ile sıralandırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, uzmanlık alan seçiminde 7 kriter içinden ailevi faktörlerin daha etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Uzmanlık alanı sıralamasında 39 alan içerisinden Adli Tıp alanı ilk sırada yer almaktadır
The decision-making process is a fact faced in every aspect of human life. In this study, considering the alternatives and criteria affecting the process in the selection of fields of specialization in medicine, the highly preferred fields of specialization have been determined using multiple criteria decision making techniques. The study included 119 doctors from the Medical Faculty of Suleyman Demirel University. The results of the survey with 11 specialists for the purpose of comparing the criteria were analyzed by the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In order to evaluate the criteria specified by the specialists in their fields of expertise, the results of the surveys conducted by 39 fields of expertise and 3 specialists from each field were analyzed with the Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS) and the results obtained were ranked with the TOPSIS technique. As a result, in the selection of the field of expertise, it was achieved that family factors were more effective from 7 criteria. In the 39 fields of specialization ranked the first place in the field of legal medicine.
