Abstract:

Based on M. Hoppál's recent research on rock paintings that began to be interested in Turkey in this remarkable work, rock paintings are trying to find ways to study from the point of view. Hoppál, who is a well-known schamanism researcher and is increasingly exploring the areas in which the Turkish people of Asia and Central Asia live, considers schamanism and mythology as an area that explains the images, and therefore, and from this point of view, the book includes the subject of schamanist indicators. The majority of the rocky official areas Hoppál is interested in, most of them are the areas where the ancestors of the Turkish people and various Turkish peoples and states emerged and continued to exist. That is why this experiment he tries to do is of importance for the field of Turkish Art History, Turkish Archaeology, Turkish Anthropology or shortly Turkology. In this article, the researchers are trying to introduce and evaluate this work translated into Turkish in various aspects.
