The Ottoman Empire at the first half of the 19th century struggled with an important uprising which came into existence as a result of the influences of nationalism and eventuated in independence, that is to say the uprising of Greeks lead up to Sovereignity of Greece. At the time of preparatory period of the aforementioned revolt, the rebel leaders tried to make contacts with other nations in the search of support for their cause especially they tried hard to get Serbians backing. At this stage the negotiations and bilateral commitments between the Serbs and Greeks took place. In this paper, one of the such kind of attempts, i.e Alexander İpsilanti’s engagement in confederation with Miloş Obrenoviç will be examined
