Özet:

The study was carried out with the aim of examining the special education given during the Covid-19 pandemic process, which was instantly a global crisis, in accordance with the teachers and parents’ opinions. The study has used the typical state study method of the quality research varieties. In the framework of the research, in the spring period of the 2019-2020 educational year, 14 private educational teachers and 21 parents who work in the private educational institutions associated with the Afyon/Karahisar National Education Directorate were interviewed. The study conducted semi-configured discussions to study the views of the special education teachings and the parents of children with special needs in the process of pandemic education. The data was collected between July-August 2020 through telephone conversations at the appropriate times for teachers and parents. In the analysis of the data obtained, the content analysis technique was used. The results from the study show that the education of children with special needs in the pandemic process has been negatively affected. It can be said that there are important interventions to be made in the teacher and parent’s size to eliminate these disadvantages.
