The aim of this study is to identify the effects of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, which occurred in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and then spread worldwide, on entrepreneurs operating in Turkey. According to the objective, the study will include the problems that entrepreneurs experience, how they produce solutions to these problems, the physical and mental effects caused by the epidemic, what motivation factors they can stand up and how they can motivate their employees, and, finally, the new normal concept of entrepreneurs. The study took place in the third month (May 2020) in which the epidemic continued. The data in the study was obtained through online conversations with entrepreneurs. The random sampling method has been reached to entrepreneurs through social networks. Interviews with entrepreneurs who participated in the research based on the essence of volunteering were conducted through the Zoom program on a pre-defined date and time. 13 interview questions prepared in accordance with the purpose of the study were answered by entrepreneurs for an average of 25-35 minutes. The data obtained after the conversations were created by analyzing the visual and content analysis method, the main and subcategories. According to the results of the analysis, it is clear that the epidemic has a advantage especially for digital and online entrepreneurs; it has a disadvantage for entrepreneurs in the field of service. Entrepreneurs have understood the importance of digitalization and have gone to regulations in the forms of business attachment. The conclusion was that entrepreneurs’ agreements with their trade unions were cancelled or delayed. Customers are responding in the form of a drop in demand. The most of the factors that negatively affect entrepreneurs are depression, anxiety about business processes, and their positive effects appear in the form of dedicating time to themselves. The most motivating factor for entrepreneurs is the family. In the course of the work, the entrepreneurs were wondering how their employees were affected by the epidemic. The most negative factor that affects employees is depression; the positive factors are saving time and spending time on them. It has been shown that employees mostly provide their motivation through organizational support and open communication. Finally, entrepreneurs believe that the importance to the rules of distance work, digitization and social distance will increase with the new normal and that social changes will occur.
